x + 3y=6

Answer
the standard equation for a line is y=mx+b so if you
re-write that you get y = (-1/3)x +2 and the slope is -1/3.
it only takes two points to plot a straight line so put in a value for x, calculate y, and plot (x,y).  one such point is (0,2).  You can calculate another point and then draw your line.
