Question
hi well i am new at my school and the students there are already in algebra 1 but in my old shool I only did Pre- Algebra so I am a little (very) confused.I dont understand graphing linear equations or slope- intercept form.

Answer
The standard equation for a straight line is y=mx+b where m is the slope and b is the y-intercept.
It only takes two points to graph a straight line.  For example, if you have y = 3x+7, just put in a value for x, calcalate y, and plot (x,y).  In this case, two points are
(0,7) and (3,16)
