QUESTION: A card is drawn from a standard deck of 52 cards. What is the probability that the card is an ace or red card?
I came up with:
4aces to 52cards
14reds to 52 cards
18together to 52cards
18 out of 52 or 9 out of 26 is this how to do it or if I am wrong how is it done?
ANSWER: Unless you're playing with a strange deck, half the cards are red, so that's 26 cards including 2 aces. There are two more aces for a total of 28 out of 52 or 7 out of 13.

QUESTION: Last question that I don't have a clue on. Suppose you toss a coin and roll a die. What is the probability that you toss a heads and roll 4? I don't have a clue has to what a die is. Can you help me on this?
AnswerDo you know about dice that they gamble with at Las Vegas?
They gamble with pairs and one is called a die. It's a cube with numbers 1-6 on the six sides to the can of getting a 4 is 1/6. the chance of getting heads when flipping a coin is 1/2 so the chance of getting both is
(1/2)(1/6) = 1/12
