QuestionQUESTION: There are a few problems i am needing help with, I hope that you can help me and I appreciate your time. Thank you.
1.) Find the length x of triangle express answer in simplified radical form.
10, 8, x
2.) 12, 8, x
3.) Find the distance between set of points, (-3,0) (4,0)
4.) Simplify by combining like terms, Square root sign 18-3 square root sign 8^2.(not sure what to put down for square root sign)
5.) simplify
(square root sign 3 + 5)(square root sign of 3 - 3)
6.)Solve equations
square root sign x +4=3
7.) square root sign 4x + 1 + 3=0
8.) square root sign 2y + 7 + 4 = y
ANSWER: First of all, you indicate a square root sign as ^1/2, such as 4^1/2 = 2.
1. I assume this is a right triangle so that
10^2 +8^2 = x^2 and x = (164)^1/2 = 2(41^1/2)
2. 12^2 +8^2 = x^2 and x = (208)^1/2 = 4(13^1/2)
3. 7
Try re-writing 4-7 and re-send them since they're not clear the way they're written.

QUESTION: 4.) 18^1/2 - 3(8x^2^1/2)
5.) (3^1/2 + 5)(3^1/2-3)
6.)(x+4=3)^1/2
7.) (4x + 1 + 3 = 0)^1/2
8.) (2y+7 + 4= y)^1/2
not sure if i wrote 6 - 8 right, but the whole problem is under the square root sign.
Thank you so much!!
Answer4. where did the x^2 come from?
5. 3 +3(3^1/2) -15 = 3(3^1/2) -12
6. I suspect you meant (x+4)^1/2 = 3
so x+4 = 9 and x = 5
7 and 8. the whole problem cannot be under the square root sign. check again
maybe 7. (4x+1)^1/2 +3 = 0 and 8. (2y+7)^1/2 +4 = y
