Question
Hello Richard! Thank you SO much for the help! I appreciate it! I also have a couple more questions...

1)   3(x+4)-5(x+3)=4(x-7)+4

2)   2x-1 - x+4 = 5
    ____   ___   _

     3      2    12

3)  6.32-4.15 - 5.76+4.32 = 43.72
   _________   _________   _____

      7.83       1.01       10.7

Answer
1) As before, multiply out and then combine terms
3x+12 -5x-15 = 4x-28 +4
-6x = -21 so x = 21/6 = 7/2
2) It's clearer if you write it
(2x-1)/3 -(x+4)/2 = 5/12  [I assume you mean -(x+4)]
multiply each term by 12 to get
4(2x-1) -6(x+4) = 5
8x-4 -6x-24 = 5
2x = 33 so x = 33/2
3) are you missing something here?
