Question
How do I find the square root of 1152?

Answer
Hello Celeste,

Depends on what you are allowed to use.

If a calculator, then use the "square root" key.

If no calculator, then you could estimate it...
Since 34^2=1156, that tells us that sqrt(1152) is
just a bit less than 34.  There is a way of doing
square roots by hand.  Check these links for more

this last one gives a few ways to do it!
