Question
If a line has an x-intercept, how many does it have? Explain and does every line have a y-intercept? If not which ones does not have one?

Answer
The standard equation for a line is y=mx+b where m is the slope and b is the y-intercept.  To find the x-intercept, set y=0 and solve for x.  A line cannot have more than 1
x-intercept and may not have any x-intercept if it is a horizontal line.  A line cannot have more than 1
y-intercept and may not have any y-intercept if it is a vertical line.
