Question Hi Katie,
As a new expert, I am just getting into the groove here. But I do have one question regarding the Question Pool. I picked a couple of questions to answer from the pool mainly to practice answering. I received a nice response from one of the askers thanking me for my help. Quote: "Thanks Brian, but this response is several months late. This question was asked in May. I have no idea what happened, but I appreciate your help anyway. Ken"
My question to you is: Why was this asker not told that placing his question in a pool may mean that an answer could come months (years?) later. When the answer is emailed to him, I think it should come with a disclaimer as to why it is so late. I'd appreciate any comments on this. Thank you,

I apologize for the late response. I've been staffed on another About.com project and I find I can not devote as much time to AllExperts I as would like.
I have changed the Question Pool so that it only displays questions that have been asked within the past month so this does not happen again.
I am also working on the disclaimer that will be automatically added to the email when the question is sent out.
