Hi,
We are currently experts under "Dog Training." We would like to know if the "Dog Training"
could be changed to "Dog Training & Behavior."

We have noticed behavior questions in the general "Dogs" category and think this change
might help steer them in the right direction. Some answers given in the "Dogs" category
in response to behavior questions could lead to a worsening of the dog's behavior. We have
seen many aggression cases in which owners (or children) have been bitten due to mis-information.

Dog behaviorists (minimum of 4 years college education) delve into the psychology behind
aggressive behavior. Dog trainers usually learn to train in 4 to 6 weeks and are qualified
to train obedience, tricks, etc., but are not qualified to address psychological issues.

Sorry to have given such a long-winded explanation, but dogs have literally lost their
lives because of this common misunderstanding.

Due to the way search engines and our database taxonomy works, I can't change the name of a category without disturbing traffic to those topic pages.

However, I can and did add a new category called Canine
