Question
I am very close to quitting this service if something is not done about seperating my profile from the questions.  Apparentely there are many people who are confusing my profile with my answer.  The latest example comes from "Jake" who said that he "had just learned the words enticement and solicitation".  I asked him in what context had he learned the words and his reply (in the negative rating) was "this expert thinks I just got arrested"   Time after time people are reading my profile that says that I don't do homework questions and that I don't predict jail sentences after people have been arrested and people are confusing that with the answer that I give.  How do I know this?  Because I have asked why the negative rating.

I have given my time and patience for free for at least three years and you are doing your best to make me quit.

Answer
I've investigated and it looks like the text that should be in your "Instructions to Users" section is in your "Signature Line". That's why the "Please do not ask me about potential jail sentences ... " is being appended to all your answers.

To change this,
1) log into your Expert Home Page
2) click the "Edit Profile" link in the Category section.
3) Scroll down a bit, then cut and paste the contents of your "Signature" text box into the "Instructions to Users" text box.
4) Click the Update button to save your new settings.

Hope this helps and
thanks for volunteering,
Katie
