While making a little money at this would be great, I enjoy being able to answer questions for people who normally WOULD have to pay for such a service.



The questions sometimes challenge me and most I've never thought of before.  By answering the questions and knowing where to do the research (it's a big internet), I benefit not only the customer but myself with the new knowledge I've discovered.
