Hello,
I am trying to find out who the singer is and the song she sang in the episode where Ally helps a Gospel singer find out why here relationship has ended. The singer sings a song about how fools fall in love and she being a prime example. Very powerful song and the artist is awesome. Ally's breakup is interwoven into what they are discovering about the singer's issue. Thanks in advance.

The singer is Jennifer Holliday, and the song you ask about is called "Fools Fall in Love".  Although Jennifer Holliday has several recordings commercially available, I don't believe this song is on any of them.  It is, however, a popular song and has been recorded by many artists, including Elvis Presley.
