on the episode that elly went to the psychologist she told her that evry time she is filling sad she sings a song. i don't remember the song the psychologist sang nor the song ally sang. if you know the name of the songs it would be great

Hi Alex,

I can't answer your email directly, so hopefully you will see this.

The song the psychologist sang is called "Tracy" and it's by The Cufflinks.

Ally originally sang the Ally McBeal theme song ("Searchin' my Soul"), but that was deemed too sad or slow.  So she chose "Tell Him" best-known as a hit for the Exciters, which you can also find on the first Ally McBeal soundtrack.
