Subject: the phrase "youstinka"

Question
What means this? A old woman in the end of TV show over a chair.
I read she is the grandmother of David, but why that phrase?
Thanks.

Answer
Hi,

The phrase was one of David Kelley's grandmother's favorite phrases apparently.  I found this in an FAQ:

"According to an article published in the Minneapolis Star-Tribune, the woman is David E. Kelley's grandmother Mildred, 97, and she's saying "You stinker!" It was one of her favorite phrases. Kelley lived with Mildred while he attended law school, and he remains close to her." --Minneapolis Star-Tribune, December 16, 1998

hope that helps.

cheers,
merrystar
