Hi Susan,
Anne Murray recorded "Could I Have this Dance?" in early 1980 or possibly late 1979. It first appears on her "Greatest Hits" album from 1980 and also in the soundtrack to the movie "Urban Cowboy" from that year. Sheet music for the song bears a 1980 copyright.
