How did Renee leave on Ally Mcbeal? That is the one episode I missed.

Hi Amy,

To the best of my knowledge, Renee never really left.  Instead, Ally decided to buy a house and move into it at the beginning of season 5.  As a result she saw Renee much less frequently.  However, in the final episode, when Ally leaves for New York City, she promises to keep in touch.
