Alternative Medicine/divitulious

Question
Hi,,

I have had divitulous for many  years with no symptoms. Now I have been diagnoised with divitulivitis. I am taking cypro & flagyn. When I am healed I want to take one of the products that clean your intestines and kill parasites. Will it be safe for me to take one of these products?

The Dr. that diagnosed my condition told me to eat fiber. Fortunately I checked the web on my problem and discovered that I did not need that until my infection was gone. Now I have put myself on a high liquid and low soft food diet. But I can feel that my electrolites are going to be a problem, what should I eat now and is ok to take vitiams?

Thanks,

Grace

Answer
Since you have infections in the pockets which are not cleaned with a colon cleanse, there is no value in this but only the risk of increasing your infection and dehydration.
While high fiber no seed diet is the normal traditional recommended approach we find adding magnesium oxide 250mg four times a day to be equivalent to a cleanse and much safer if approved by your doctors.
