Question
QUESTION: Eric
I am in good health at 49,jusy passed a physical, and I try to eat healthy,no alcohol, not much coffee.
I am finding myself a little pooped out in the afternoons and would like to take a siesta but thats not possible.
I think its just the aging process, but I would like to get through the day a bit more wide eyed.
Can you reccommend a herbal supplement that is safe?
BTW,I tried ginseng,it worked but it made me kind of irritable.
Thanks.

ANSWER: Hi Bud,
It would be helpful to know what type of work you do and where you live.
Thank you for using Allexperts

QUESTION: I live in Alaska and I work for the Department of Highways.
Lots of time driving a truck and periods  of  desk work and labor.

Answer
Hi Bud,
In Alaska at this time of year you may suffer from lack of sunshine. We do here in southern British Columbia. I use a sun light to help and it does help tremendously in providing more energy. Driving may also be very tiring. In short I do not think there is a magic pill to provide ou with instant energy but I do recommend trying the sun light or as it is called SAD light (Seasonal Affective Diorder light).
Thank you for using Allexperts
