Question
Is there a law or policy that states how many purchases an individual can make on certain medications? I am writing a research paper for my comp class and I need to know if there is any limit on the number of purchases an individual can make regarding medicines like sudafed, nyquill, other cough suppressents or medications used in the making of illegal drugs.

Answer
Hi Jennifer,
There is no specific law restricting the amount that can be purchased. The standard of practice for potentially abused drugs is to restrict the amount to amounts that would be be for personal use only.
Thank you for using Allexperts
