Alternative Medicine/familial tremor

Question
My doctor diagnosed me with familial or essentil tremors which are very frustrating for me. The doctor tells me that the two medications available have undesireable side effects. One elevates the blood prssure for which I take medication and is under control the other would worsen my slight asthma.
Do you have any advise? Thanks in advance.

Hi Ernst,
My advice is to try the medications. Start at low dose and titrate until side effects or satisfactory result, whiever comes first. Propranolol is the first drug of choice. This is the one your doctor is probsbly thinking about and the one that may aggrevate asthma but may not all people are affected that way by it.
