Alternative Medicine/acid reflux

Question
Hello,
In a period of 3 months I dropped in weight from 180lbs to 125 lbs without dieting.  My stomach hurt immensely.  After multiple medical tests they said I had bad chronic acid reflux and a bad gall bladder.  They took the gall bladder out and for a period of 2 months I did very well.  I gained weight and could eat anything without any problems.  Now it is starting all over again.  I again have bad pain in my stomach and although I eat normally it makes me sick.  I also have terrible gas and burping back again.  I take Omeprazole 20mg and Metoclopramide 5mg.
I don't know what to do, go back to the doctors or just wait and see if it gets better.  Do you have any advice?

Answer
Hi Don,
I think you need to go back to your doctor to diagnose the cause.
It may be Helicobacter pylori infection which can be treated with antbiotics and omeprazole. Your doctor needs to be involved here.
Thank you for using Allexperts
