Alternative Medicine/colitus
Expert: Tonja Wells - 6/4/2008
QuestionI am a 16 year old boy that has ulcerative colitus. i am bleeding alot and I was wondering if you have any alternative cures. I have been to a bunch of different docs and everything seems to work and then bam i end back where i started. i need to end this flare or the docs said long term effects are colon cancer. I am also tired althoughout the day but awake during the night so i never fall asleep easier. I also have a very stressful life that i am barely managing
AnswerI have a seen many reverse the symptoms of this. If it were me I would give the colon a rest.
Eat soft foods, steamed, baby food, puree my foods for 6 weeks while taking herbs to help the colon repair itself. This will take the stress off the colon.
I would do the following
CLT-X - 2 before each meal for the inflammation in the colon and to repair the colon
Proactazyme plus - 2 before each meal to break down the foods
Eat very slowly making sure each bite is well chewed before swallowing.
IF Relief or aloe vera juice as needed for the pain as needed
Kudzu/St. Johns Wort to heal the gut wall.
No grains or gluten
Probiotic 11 to heal the gut
for the lack of energy I would work with
Nervous Fatigue Formula, Mineral Chi tonic, B complex and licorice root.
No licorice root if there is high blood pressure.
I have seen people reverse these but working with diet, chewing foods and drinking no more than 4 ounces of room temperature water at each meal is very important.
Also you must work on removing the stress in your life.
You can find all of these at my web site at cost at

This is a 4 phase program.
1. Remove the irritants - wrong foods - wheat and gluten, nuts, corn, red meat, fried foods, citrus, dairy and sugar, raw foods
2. use digestive enzymes to help the food breakdown like Proactazyme plus
3. rebuild the intestinal flora with Probiotic 11
4. repair and tone damaged tissues with CLT-X and Kudzu/St. Johns Wort
I do offer complete phone consults as well.
