Question
I have been reading a lot about natural cures. I was wondering if you knew or heard about Dr. Julian Whittaker Bottom Line Health and if they are any good or if they are just trying to sell their expensive cures. Thank you for your time.

Answer
Hello Perry,
Thanks for your question.  It's wonderful that you are looking at using some natural remedies.  I am familiar with Dr Whitaker through his books, and he himself seems like he is educated & involved in alternative medicine.  If you could see him or his clinic, you would probably get good results.
As for the products, it's difficult to say.  It's not a well-known brand, although I am not familiar with everything out there.  Of course it is a business & selling a product, so it's not simply objective information.  But if you compare the products and they are reasonable in price & content to other companies, it seems reasonable to try them.
What I'd strongly suggest is that you see a practitioner, for individual guidance.  Supplements are often helpful, but work best when you know why & what to take them for; and can incorporate them into a larger plan that will work for you.  This is the best way to get the benefits of natural cures--simply trying to replace a drug with an herb is often of limited effectiveness.  So for best results in your effort & investment, find a naturopathic (www.naturopathic.org) or holistic (www.holistic.org) doc in your area.  Good luck!
