Alternative Medicine/Vitex

Question
Is it possible that Vitex can make your cycles worse?  I have been on it for 6.5 months and my cycles have been getting more erratic the last 2 months (late ovulation).  Vitex has not brought on earlier ovulation or increased the luteal phase since I started taking it.  Is there a way to detox this herb out of my body?

Answer
Hi,
This will be the third time I have sent this answer and pressed send but for some reason it is not sending so I am hoping this time works.

Vitex is a plant so getting off of it will get the plant out of your system in a few days.  If you want to follow it up with something EnvirDeotx, fiber and lots of water with Chlorphylly water can help flush the liver.

The thyroid backs up the ovairs so working with the thyroid with sea vegetables, a thyroid glandular like Thyroid support or doing a complete consult to see if the thyroid is not doing what it needs to do may be very important here.

Also the hyopthalmus/pituitary axis is essential to work with.
