Alternative Medicine/Calcium deposit? under eye

Question
Hi! I've got a raised lighter skin colored bump on the lower corner of my eye, on the skin not inside. It's been there for at least 10 months, tho lately seems to have gotten larger. I have had intense laser eye surgery a couple years ago, and it has caused dryness in my eyes which I think is related.

I just want it off- what can I do?
Thanks!!!!

Thanks!!

Answer
Hello Jenna,
Thanks for your question.  This may be due to acute or chronic irritation, so rectifying that will help it from getting larger, and possibly decrease it.  First, you want to find out if it's benign condition or something more concerning, with your eye specialist.  If it's ok, and it is simply related to dryness, you can try some natural eye drops as well as ensuring you are properly hydrated & rule out any hidden allergies.  There are some natural treatments that may help with benign conditions in the body, but the eye is one area that is more difficult, which doesn't lend itself to self-treatment well.  So you may have to remove it with a mechanical procedure and then with fixing the underlying cause to prevent recurrence.
You might consider homeopathy after consulting an experienced homeopath for an individual remedy; this can often be helpful at fixing the underlying cause & resolving such issues.
Good luck,
