Question
Tonya
Have you heard of this? It is supposed to help boost your metabolism and improve your skin and hair.

Answer
Hello,
So sorry it has taken me so long to answer this question. I was about to and my computer shut down and I lost the e-mail and remembered last night when the subject of coconut oil came up.
To answer your questions.
YES, if you use extra virgin organic coconut oil, there are MANY benefits but it must be extra virgin organic. You will want to start slowly and build up.
It does boost the thyroid gland which boost metabolsim.  I have seen eczema helped tremendously because of this but because the thyroid controls the skin and hair it will help this as well.  Good fats are essential for the body and coconut oil fits into that catagory.
