Alternative Medicine/hormones
Expert: Tonja Wells - 1/7/2009
QuestionQUESTION: I'm 47 year old female, type O, 5'6", 135lbs normally very active, and sleep well 7-8 hrs, and my periods over the last few months have become irregular, not overly heavy but they have lasted 2 weeks or more. The regular 7 day period seems like the regular flow, but then it keeps going on but very light. The last 2 months I have been experiencing heart palpitations along with it. It seems my hormones are out of balance. I don't know if this is part of going into menopause or what. I don't take any prescrition drugs. I have been taking a ten day para-cleanse from Natures Sunshine products and have taken Natures Sunshine FCS II for the last 4 days, which is a hormone balancer. I just wondered if you have any other suggestions. Thank you so much.
ANSWER: Hello Mindy,
It sounds like you are already working with someone with Nature's Sunshine. If so I would go back with them. If you would like to work with me you can order through me. Otherwise please go back to the person you are working with.
I would use Menstural Reg, Yarrow and Red Raspberry. The second to will help regulate the length of the cycle and the first with help regulate the irregularity.
If that is not enough then I would consider Master Gland and Pro-G-Yam Cream.
If you choose to order through me I can make suggestions on how I would take these.
I do offer phone consults as well if you purchase through me.
You can order through my web site at www.yourherbalhealthsolutions.com
Thank you,

QUESTION: Thank you for such a timely response. I was not working with anyone in Natures Sunshine, I am just familiar with they're products and had used them before. There isn't anyone in my area to ask questions and I found this site on the internet. I know some about herbs, but had never had to deal with this kind of imbalance before. I'm going to go to your website and check out your herbs. Thank you so much again for your advise.
AnswerAwesome, I don't like to step on anyones toes, if you know what I mean.
I want you to also not eat microwaved foods, and get rid of xenoestrogens in your diet, plastics, microwaves, etc.
