Question
I usually get a bad cold accompanied with a soar throat and very bad cough once a year. I am always given antibiotics which I discovered cause a yeast infection. I have been having the cold for 3 days now and resisting going to the doctor to avoid having to take antibiotics.Is there an alternative medicine that can cure my soar throat and cough? thank you

Hello Sally,

One of the best ways to prevent colds is to strenghten your immune system throughout the year.

I suggest taking Probioic 11 - this is good flora to restore the integrity of the gut as 70% of your immune system is in your gut.

2.  Keep your adrenal glands strong

3.  Wash your hands

4.  Use a super antioxidant called Thai Go to keep your immune system strong.

Once you have gotten a cold there are several things you can do to reverse this.  But remember, the cold is the cure.
Taking an antibioitc weaknes the immune system so you always want to be sure to do probiotics when you have taken an antibiotic. Anti - means against the body and pro for the body.

I would suggest gargeling with Silver Sheid - 3 x a day for as long as 6 minutes.

I would also use the homeopathic sore throat laryngitis.

For a Cough I suggest cordycepts for adults along with Ayurvedic Bronchia Formula

I would also take some Olive Leaf to fight viruses and infections.

Keep sugar out the diet as it weakens the immune system.

Remember sometimes you do have to go to the doctor.
