Alternative Medicine/sub clinical thyroid

Question
I have recently seen an endocrinologist for my symptoms of chronic fatigue, constipation, depression, sore throat, and all around just not feeling good. The doc says i might have sub clinical hypothyroidism or an adreanal dysfuction. all my labs are within normal limits my cholestreol is high which is abnormal for me considering i don't eat much i am post lap-band bariatric pt. so basically i just would like some advise on what i can do naturally to help me feel better. the doc ordered some additional adreanal test to test for over active adreanals but otherwise said i have to wait it out to see what's "really" wrong?

Answer
Hi Patrocia,
There is no sure treatment until the cause is found. Tiredness can be caused by low thyroid function, anemia and other conditions. What you describe is more fitting with low thyroid function but you need to wait until the results are in. If you start with alternative treatments before there is a clear diagnosis then if further tests are needed the treatment would interfere with the test and skew the results.
