Alternative Medicine/tinnitus treatment

Question
Dear Dr Sabalaske,

I am a fifth year student in osteopathy at the Canadian College of Osteopathy in Montreal, Quebec, Canada (CEO). At the end of the fifth year, all students have to do a thesis in order to obtain their diploma (DO)).

I am interested in doing a quantitative research in the osteopathic treatment for subject with subjective tinnitus. I did not found many osteopathic research on that subject nor any specific/general osteopathic manipulations (including cranial manipulation, visceral...).

I would very appreciate any suggestion you might have (e.g. any previous research on that subject, article/book or osteopathic manipulations...).

Many thanks,

David RN B.Sc

Answer
Hi there David.  Glad to hear that you are doing some interesting research.  I don't have any significant resources off hand, but you may try the bulletin board and ohwi.org which is the largest international osteopathic bulletin board and someone may be of more help.  Good luck.  Tom
