Question
QUESTION: I am nearing 50, 179 cm and without any medical problem, except that I have mild hypertension (in control with regular medication) and slightly overweight (83 kg). I am into desk job, but do 30 min brisk walking 6 days in a week. Please advise whether my water intake is OK or not. I drink about 1000 ml while in office, another 1000 ml at home by 7 pm (in one go) and another 1000 ml by 10 pm  before retiring to bed at 11 pm.

ANSWER: That is plenty but you need the minerals lacking now in waters, such as calcium carbonate and magnesium oxide 3-4 times a day

QUESTION: Thanks for your reply. To avoid taking cal carb / mag ox supplement, should I lower water intake? If so, how much? If not, what quantity of these supplements should I take? Also, what are the reactions of not taking these supplements?

Answer
You would need to increase magnesium oxide intake with supplement like 250mg four times a day if OK with your doctor and lower carbs by doing an adkins diet without nuts or seeds if OK with your doctor.
Death by complication is the usual result of not addressing these, plus the diseases you are getting now only worsen
