can I take lactoferrin to help my immunity and what about if I already have a virus will it help prevent sickness?

please give  me some information on it.

Hello Jessyca,

I am an herbalist and this sounds like it comes from mothers milk.  This is not something I have ever worked with. I would go back to the person who sold you this and ask them.

To build one's immunity I suggest the following:
Probioic 11 - good floral as 70% of the immune system is in the gut.
Thai Go or Super ORAC - These are both super antioxidants
Staying away from sugar, junk food and white carbs.

For viruses I suggest
VS-C for long term virus issues like herpies.
Elderberry and Olive leaf are to great anti-virals.
You might even try colostrum as this sounds simular to lactoferrin.

Rotating your anti-virals is a great way to use them.
