Question
Hi Tonja !

Hello..

Thanks for viewing my question.

I am a regular alcohol drinker. Twice in a week. I am also having a cholesterol problem. Last year high amount of cholesterol (fat) was found on my liver. As advised I started exercise (walking & jogging) & medicines. And i recovered & reduced the cholesterol.

Now my question is I am still drinking(not daily but twice a week)and still exercising. Now I am doing high weight lifting exercise. And also 10 to 15 mins walk & jogging.

Does this weight lifting  help reducing alcohol in my body ?
I mean does this exercise provide any benefits to my liver against alcohol drink?

What is the best way to keep liver healthy against drinking ?

Please let me know.

Thanks
Janak

Answer
Hello Janak,

I would take Milk Thistle every day to support the liver. Squeezing 1/2 a lemon in warm water and drinking it first thing in the morning can help to flush the liver. I am an herbalist and would suggest contacting a trainer on the exercise question.
