Can you recommend a safer alternative to Preparation-H ointment and suppositories for someone with heart disease (2 stents 9/3/10, taking Plavix & aspirin), high blood pressure and Diabetes Type 2?
Hi Connie,
A safe product to treat hemorrhoids would be Anusol, or Anusol plus if you have a lot of itching associated with the hemorrhoids. Both of these can be purchased without a prescription. If they are very inflamed you can get a prescription for Proctosedyl or Anusol HC or Anugesic HC.
