Alternative Medicine/borage vs evening primrose?

Question
Eric
I started taking borage oil and it actually has helped with fat loss in those hard to lose fat places, combined with exercise and sensible diet of course. My joints are also less stiff than they use to be.(I am 51).
Evening primrose oil seems to offer the same benefits but it is much cheaper-should I switch to that?
BTW I tried flax oil capsules, no help at all. I also switched from Becel margerine (canola oil) back to butter.I feel this has also helped with weight loss and less inflammation.
Thanks for your thoughts.

Answer
Hi Bud,
You can try evening primrose oil, but I would stick with what is proven to be effective. In your case it is the borage. I too prefer butter over margarine. Imagine what they have to do to oils to solidify them at room temperature. Can't be healthy.
