Alternative Medicine/vitamins

Question
I recently read an article from dr. John McDougall about the dangers of taking vitamins:
http://www.drmcdougall.com/misc/2010nl/may/vitamins.htm

I am a vegan who takes a multi-vitamin ("Just Once") as well as extra vitamins d and b12.  I tend to believe that vitamins (such as the ones given in case studies in the article) can in fact have adverse effects on the body.  Any thoughts on this?  Also, I plan on eating raw foods and doing more juicing so i will be able to get more whole-food vitamins anyway.

Answer
I do believe in taking viatmins and supplements. As long as you are taking good quaility and not too much.  We need extra B's and sometimes other vitamins.  You need to make sure you are digesting them I think that is the problem. Not enough raw enzymes. So you are getting enough with raw foods.  And juicing.  Jayne
