Alternative Medicine/Eustachian tube

Question
Is it really possible to help  Eustachian tube disfunction by pressing on an area near a tonsil in order to break adhesions?  I have a long-standing Eustachian tube problem  that I am getting desperate to solve.  I have also read about laser surgery for the same condition, but it seems quite drastic.  Can you help with some information?  Thank you so much  SH

Answer
Hi Susie, thank you for writing.  Many chronic eustachian tube dysfunctions that aren't amenable to standard treatment are related to changes in anatomy and structural mal-alignment.  The Muncie technique is what you are referring to, and it can be quite helpful, here is a link to a recent article about it.
