Alternative Medicine/Metatstatic spinal cancer
Expert: Tonja Wells - 3/10/2010
QuestionHello,
My father was diagnosed in February 2009 with pancreatic cancer. A successful whipples surgrey was performed in April (no camcer cells were present after surgrey)and in July he was started on chemotherapy (Gemcitabine)for 6 months. In February 2010 he went for a check-up and was given the all clear. Only a week later did he start to present upper back pain and later was unable to stand-up or walk for even a few minutes. They eventually done an MRI scan that revealed he had stage 4 metastatic spinal cancer. The cancer is located in thoracic 2,3,4 and lumbar 5. Thoracic 2 and 3 have dense masses of cancer within them. They have said that he has spinal cord compression, that a bone fragment is pressing on his spinal cord which is causing the pain. Radiation started last week for 5 sessions in the hope that it will shrink the cancer in the bone.
The prognosis they have given us is very bad. They do not view surgrey as an option and are only looking at pallative care as the way forward, they have given my father 2-3 months to live.
We are now looking at alternative medicine in the hope that it can be of benefit. What can you recommend in regards to diet, lifestyle etc that would have a positive effect on the cancer?
Anything information would be greatly appreciated.
Many Thanks
Olivia
AnswerThis is really to big a question to answer on this type of form.
I would get the book Eat to Beat Cancer and follow it to the T.
All organics, pure water, organic meats. Eat right for your blood type.
Get Alkaline water.
Find a colon therapist and find a local herbalist or ND and get in to see them ASAP. You need personal attention on this.
I live in America and do know know what you have in the UK.
The protocal I work with is pages long and I don't have it in my computer. DO FIND SOMEONE LOCAL. Call your health food stores and find an ND or herbalist who works with cancer.
To your health.
I would get on E-Tea or Easiac tea, lots of enzymes with and between meals (protease between meals) Paw paw is good for certain cancers. Minerals lots of alkaline foods.
