Alternative Medicine/Frequent Urination

Question
About 3 months ago I started developing "frequent urination". It wasnt so bad during the day but often kept me up "all night long" urinating every 15 minutes. I didnt get any sleep and ended up having to see an Emergency room doctor. He tested my urine and found nothing in it for infectiona or bacteria. He did give me an anitbiotic and Phenazopyrid to take- but didnt help me one bit. I started looking up alternative meds and found 2 from a local pharmacy that I bought. Within a few days I started feeling better and was able to sleep through the night. One was called "Better Woman" (betterwomannow.com) which I took 1 capsule with breakfast and one with dinner PLUS a product called "Go Less" (countrylifevitamins.com) that I took 1 capsule at lunch and 1 before bed. Together they seemed to help until the following week when I got my period. Then all my symptoms (of OAB it seemed) came back. I dont know what happened then but all of a sudden I started developing new symptoms that included: not being able to get to sleepright away although I felt tired, not being able to sleep more than five hours, had trouble falling back to sleep afterward, shaking/ trembling hands, numbness in my hands, trouble concentrating on anything, dizziness and confusion, I had trouble settling down and couldnt sit still, slurred speech due to what felt like numb lips/ mouth, (and what feltlike) severe anxiety attacks while at home or being out in public. I wanted to know if the 2 above mentioned supplements couldhave caused these symptoms in me, taken together every day for the past few weeks or could it be a medical issue? Also is there a good herbal/ alternative medicine that help with the problems of "over active bladder/frequent urination "that will help within a week or less? I am in desperate need of some advice on this matter.
Thank you so much,
Bonnie

Answer
I think you need to see a holistc naturopathic doctor or an acupuncurtist.  I don't think they caused the symptoms but you may want to stop and see what happens. No herbs that I can think of except a kidney blend you can get at a health food store. Jayne
