Alternative Medicine/Fertility

Question
I have had fertility issues for almost 2 years now. I want to explore a natural approach to my fertility before I use more invasive procedures. What I was wondering was if it was safe to use more than one natural herb at a time or will there be interactions. The medicines that I plan to use for myself are Chasteberry, Black Cohosh, and Siberian Ginseng. For my husband he plans to use Horny Goat Weed and Gotu Cola. I have asked the sales people if these herbs are safe to use together but have never gotten clear answers. I have researched the herbs and they are supposed to be effective and like I said, I want to be as holistic as possible. And also, I was wondering if you knew of any websites about accupressure...I want to try and use this as well to help stimulate my body and if this is a technique that can be used on men as well?

Answer
Hello Mikala,

For infertility issues I always check the following:
1.  Digestion issues - with possible Hiatla Hernia issues
2.  Are you eating a low glycemic diet (get white foods and high glycemic foods out of both of your diets)
3.  Avoid Xenoestroges - eat organic, never use a microwave or drink out of water bottles that are not BAP free
4. Eat lots of good fats and take Super Omega 3 mercury free fish oil
5. Deal with stress
6. Make sure your cholesterol is not to low.

Here are the supplements I would take if it here me.

Mineral Chi tonic - Amerians tend to be very low in minerals and this also helps with stress.
Master Gland - to balance the glands, specifically the pituitary
NF-X - standing for not fertal - a blend of female herbs much like the ones you have researched
Utimate Green Zone for good nutritiona as a green drink each day
X-Action for women if sex drive is low
Natures Prental - for a non synthenic multi which includes your folic acid needed to prevent against birth defects.

For your husband I would do the Mineral Chi and Ultimate Green Zone and X-Action for men.
