Question
I have been diagnosed with major depressive disorder and anxiety. I was prescribed lexapro and then zoloft but the results were varied and I stopped taking them 3 months ago. I am exploring the possibility of alternative, natural medicine but I am skeptical that herbs can combat serious depression Is there hope for me? What products would you suggest? Thank you for listening.

Answer
You need to look at diet as well not just the herbs Cutting out sugar and drinking more water for wxample is very helpful.  Doing a detox for the liver. Go to your healthfood sotre and look at detox programs. You can start off with B complex Calcium magnesium and Sam-e as a start. Meditation and yoga also.  Go to a book store and see if there is any books on the subject. Jayne
