Alternative Medicine/Fertility

Question
QUESTION: I had an ectopic pregnancy in 2006 which resulted in my left tube being removed.  At the MDs suggestion I had a procedure done where they flush my tube out while watching it on a screen to see if the other tube is clear.  It was and I became pregnant about a month later.  I went on to have a successful pregnancy except later on developed pre eclampsia and delivered a healthy baby 4 weeks early.  Since then I have had 2 early miscarriages or Chemical pregnancies.  We have been trying since December for #2 with no luck.  My period seems to be a little lighter and longer than it used to be but is still right on time every month.  I have been using ovulation test strips so I know I am having a LH surge.  I have been drinking a celestial seasons rasberry tea and a B6 and E suppliment but don't know what else to do to encourage fertility.  Do you have any suggestions?

ANSWER: Hello Jama,

If would be sure to check Progesterone levels to make sure they are at the right levels. This is one of the main causes of early pregnancy.

I would also do Red Raspberry Leaves to strengthen and support the uterus.

Here are some other considerations.

For infertility issues I always check the following:
1.  Digestion issues - with possible Hiatal Hernia issues
2.  Are you eating a low glycemic diet (get white foods and high glycemic foods out of both of your diets)
3.  Avoid Xenoestroges - eat organic, never use a microwave or drink out of water bottles that are not BAP free
4. Eat lots of good fats and take Super Omega 3 mercury free fish oil
5. Deal with stress
6. Make sure your cholesterol is not to low.

Here are the supplements I would take if it here me.

Mineral Chi tonic - Amerians tend to be very low in minerals and this also helps with stress.
Master Gland - to balance the glands, specifically the pituitary
NF-X - standing for not fertal - a blend of female herbs much like the ones you have researched
Utimate Green Zone for good nutritiona as a green drink each day
X-Action for women if sex drive is low
Natures Prental - for a non synthenic multi which includes your folic acid needed to prevent against birth defects.
Red Raspberry

QUESTION: Thank you very much for the response.  I made an appointment with the Dr to test my Progesterone levels.  I plan to begin taking the Red Rasberry Leaves.  How much should I take a day?

Answer
I would go back to the person you purchased it from and ask them. I am only able to suggest amounts if I have done a consult with the person and they have purchase through me as I know that product. I dont' know what quality you purchased, etc.
Please work with the person you purchsed from as they should know their product.
