Alternative Medicine/Could yeast be my problem?

Question
Quick history...

Every time I visit my OBGYN for a check up, it turns out I have a yeast infection, even if I didn't realize it myself.  Strange thing, under his microscope it doesn't look like yeast, but I respond to Diflucan so he said it has to be some shape form or fashion of it. He initially treated me for what he thought was recurring BV and after several rounds of Flagyl, no response.  This has been an ongoing problem for several years.  He gives me a strong dose of Diflucan, I take one - feel horrible the next couple of days - and then a couple of weeks later the yeast returns.

During this same time period, my mental health has been deteriorating (worsening anxiety & depression) and I've had a significant increase in environmental allergies.  Of course each doctor is treating me with bandaids, but nothing seems to be getting to the root cause and making me feel better as a whole.  My fatigue, mental clarity, etc seem to be diminishing.

Could the yeast be the culprit here?  And if it's a strong possibility, how do I go about eliminating it naturally?  I welcome any advice you can offer as I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired, and seemingly developing something new each year.  I'm a 31 year old female.  Thanks!

Answer
Hello Wendy,

As an herbalist I am not able to diagnose or prescribe but obviously something is going on. If you are sexually active the root might be your partner is sharing some type of bacterial/fungal issues with you.

If it were me I would look for an herbalist in your area.

I would get off all sugar and fruit juice.

I would use a generous amount of Silver Shield gel on a small tampon and insert it vaginally for 90 minutes a day.

I would Probioitc 11 as good flora every night.

I would consider going on a candida diet and use the cleanse Candida Clear.

I would have my partner do the same.
