Alternative Medicine/Trigeminal neuralgia

Question
Hi. A good friend of mine was just diagnosed with "Trigeminal neuralgia." Any ideas of supplements that might help him?

Hi David,
I do not know of alternative medications/supplements to help relieve the pain associated with trigeminal neuralgia. The drug of choice is carbamazepine. Gabapentin and Lyrica can also be used.
