Question
My husband has lymes disease and has become resistant to prescribed antibiotic. Do you have any herbal antiboditic suggestions he can try.
Thanks Mary

Answer
Dear Mary,
I know some people with Lyme's disease are on long term antibiotic therapy, but that really does increase their resistance to anything else.  There are two herbs, one I do not have the botanical name, but it's referred to as "heal all" and the other is sanicle.  I love sanicle.  I know health food stores and some natural nutrition suppliers often have combinations and formulas for specifics.  I have heard of people trying colostrum capsules for Lyme's disease.  Those long term antibiotics are just awful on a person's immune system.  That would be my last suggestion.  Get a natural regimen of immune boosting vitamins and herbs and see if his own body won't fight the Lyme's disease.  I think natural formulas to boost the body's own immunity and strengthen the weaknesses is the best way to resolve any health issue.
I wish you well.
Kind Regards,
KD Liz
