QUESTION: A friend of mine has attended your sessions in Columbus and recommends them but I do not live there. I am wondering about your position on plant oils. Are they all bad or just some? When you say get off of plant oils does the list include avocado, coconut, flax, grapeseed, olive, safflower, sesame, walnut oils? Thank you!

ANSWER: Are they all bad or just some? The omega-6 are over supplied byt 20-30 times and omega-3 plant oil can not be used by humans

QUESTION: Are you saying only that plant oils are a poor source of omega 3s or do you also mean that they should not be consumed? If the latter, what source should a vegetarian use for fats in the diet? Thank you!

we try to help our patients get their levels down to 3:1 if vegetarians and 1:1 for omnivores

our patients cook with butter, lard and olive oil so a vegetarians choice is less
