hi sir, my name is zubair yousuf & i am a student of commerce, i m from Kashmir India...pl z tell how can i control my stammering, my life became nightmare for me..pl z reply sir as soon as possible..
Dear Zabair
If you can find an Alexander Technique teacher to work with, they should be able to help you. The technique consists of learning not to react straight away to the desire to speak, because this desire always produces the same reaction which in your case is to stammer. A teacher will help you to learn to stop before the old habit has taken hold. The teacher will then help you to maintain better overall use of yourself while you prepare to carry out the act of speaking.
