I have a nail fungus in my toe nail and my doctor said it is in my blood stream and that I have to take a medicine for 6 months to one year  that can severely damage my liver. Do I have an alternative method? And how long will it take?

There are some alternative treatments, such as iontophoresis (an in-office treatment), as well as dietary changes (an anti-fungal diet)and supplements that may be helpful for nail fungus.  But it is difficult to treat naturally as well, and it may not always be in the best interest of the person due to more effective, easier conventional treatments.  If this is something you wish to find alternatives for, I'd suggest seeking out a ND near you (www.naturedoctor.org) for an individual consult and treatment plan.  A naturopathic approach would also help with overall health and eliminating any contributory causes to the nail fungus.
