Alternative Medicine/Aloe Vera Juice

Question
Eric
Do you know anything about this?
I have irritable bowel with the main symptom being bloating and inflammation after eating any red meat. I think I am allergic but apparently there is no such thing.  The odd time I have had wild game or bison its not as bad.I also cant eat much fat or cheese, I stick to a bland diet.
Digestive enzymes and probiotics do nothing, ginger helps a bit.
I just got a bottle of this stuff (its expensive) but after drinking two ounces I felt a cooling sensation in my intestines.
It is really hyped up on the net, so I am hoping an expert can give me truth!
Also, in spite of not eating much (average 1500 calories a day) and being quite active, I cant lose weight. My doctor said my thyroid and everything are fine. I have tried green tea, kelp, and vitamin B12 to no avail. Maybe its my genes (I am adopted so I dont know), but any advice on this too? Thanks!

Answer
Hi Barry,
I have tried Aloe Vera juice for my inflammatory bowel condition. It did not work. There is a ot of hype about the product, but I have my doubts about its effectiveness. Weight loss is best accomplished by diet and exercise. Limit the carbohydrates, avoid white flour and increase your fiber intake. These measures will help with weight loss.
Thank you for using Allexperts
Sincerely,
