Question
About a month ago I had something happen which I thought involved my heart, after a monitor, stress test, echo and lab work, all seems fine with my heart.  I was low in potassium and had a urinary tract infection which I thought was a yeast infection I had been battling for months.  Other than that I seem very heathy.  It seems it might have been a sever anxiety or panic attack.  I have had long term stress for a few years so I think it caught up to me and hit me bad.  I am slowly getting better.  However I have some questions about medication and supplements.  I have been taking medication and trying to get off.  I was taking the generic for Ativan.  I have started to take Gaba and Nutri Calm (both from Natures Sunshine), and just started to apply progesterone cream (I tested very low this past summer, they wanted to give me birth control, I said no, so I thought I would try this, I have been having very irregular cycles).  I am also eating papaya enzymes to help with my digestive problems and nausea.  I have always had low blood pressure, and had a hard time sleeping well (maybe because I still have young kids).  I eat healthy and try to do most things naturally.    However I can not sleep at all, my blood pressure seems lower (lightheaded, almost tingling in my head and face, very week, hard time focusing.) I have been very nauseous and working on eating, the anxiety is there, getting better but definitely a constant battle.  I am trying to work through the anxiety with counseling as well.  I am sure it takes time for your body to recalculate.  I am mostly trying to figure out if the gaba might be making me feel funny with the low blood pressure, or the nutri calm.  If you have any thoughts of what I could take for the anxiety and sleep and what to do with the low blood pressure, nausea.  Also if you have any ideas about the progesterone cream.  I am 36,  5'9 145 pounds, type a blood.

Answer
Hello,
It sounds as if you are already working with someone with NSP products. I do not like to interefere if you are working with someone else.

I would encourage you to go back to the person you purchased the products from as they should have had training to go through all this with you. I would consider working with the adrenals for Low blood pressure and have them check with NSP Health Science for any contraindications. You can also e-mail them at as@natr.com

I would also check with your pharmacist.

It is the responsibility of the person who sold you the products to work through this with you.
If you are taking licorice it can lower your potassium. Please also check that.

I would see what is going on with the liver for the nausea.

The person who sold you these products should be able to test you and help you in theses areas.

I would personall start taking the mineral chi tonic.
